Here Are 4 Things I Do To Kick Off The New Year

I can’t believe there is only one month until the end of the year. It’s a time of reflection, happiness, and new beginnings.

Every year, I look forward to a fresh start. Here are 4 things I always do to kick off the new year.

I go crazy with deleting things. I like to start the year with a clean slate.

This is a must. A new year calls for a clean house. Everything I need is put in it’s place, everything I don’t need is removed.

I’ll clear out my closet and donate clothing and shoes. I’ll clean out my kitchen and get rid of unused gadgets. It feels SO liberating to declutter the house! 🧹 Plus it makes cleaning easier, because I don’t have a bunch of useless things lying around.

I use a paper calendar and a digital calendar. 📆 The paper calendar gives me a clean breakdown of the months and I can easily view the entire year.

It’s a great way to plot out a general idea of how I want the year to look. I love calendars!

I like to give things a new look. It can be new clothes, new things around the house, or even new spreadsheets at work. It just gives a fresh start. You don’t have to break the bank for this. Simply rearranging your furniture in a room can also give a breath of fresh air!
